BRANDON, FL – No one was injured in a crash at the South Kings Avenue and Climate Drive junction in the Hickory Lakes Estates neighborhood Monday. 

Hillsborough County deputies arrived at the scene around 4:12 p.m. They did not reveal the exact cause of this crash nor mention the number of people and vehicles involved.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A driver cut off a 37-year-old woman on I-275, leading her vehicle to roll over and her suffering serious wounds Monday. 

FOX 13 News said the woman, who operated a Mazda 6, steered left to avoid striking the driver, who cut her off. Her attempt did not work, and she hit a traffic barrier, resulting in her car overturning several times. 

The woman was taken to an area hospital. Her current condition is unknown, and no pending charges were mentioned at this time.

WIMAUMA, FL – Five people lost their lives after a Toyota Tacoma driver had traveled west on SR-674, leading to a head-on with two vehicles on Sunday. 

It is not immediately clear why the 29-year-old man (the driver of the Toyota Tacoma) had gone into the opposite lanes, WTSP said. A Chevy Silverado pickup truck was struck first. Then, a Chevy S-10 driver behind the Silverado struck debris from the initial crash and crashed into a ditch after trying to avoid the collision. 

The Chevy S-10 driver and one passenger from the Silverado truck were unharmed, while a 40-year-old occupant from the Silverado was seriously hurt.

TAMPA, FL – Hillsborough County deputies were called to a crash along Tampa Executive Airport that resulted in at least one person sustaining injuries Friday. 

This collision happened on the southbound lanes of I-75. The exact details of this crash have not been made immediately clear.

EAST TAMPA, FL – Police confirmed that it was 57-year-old Darrell Lawson who lost his life when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bike

This collision occurred after 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the area of East 21st Avenue. Lawson succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene despite the life-saving measures conducted on him. 

Police have yet to locate the hit-and-run suspect. Although they do believe the suspect drove a light blue, gray, or silver sedan and was last seen on East 21st Avenue.

NEAR LAKELAND, FL – Two were injured, and a 49-year-old man lost his life as a result of a three-vehicle collision on Ewell Road near Lakeland Thursday. 

According to ABC Action News, the 49-year-old man — Thomas Holloway — drove a 2020 Kia Soul and drifted off his center line, sideswiping a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck. 

Holloway had then struck a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, which traveled behind the Chevrolet truck. The impact caused Holloway’s engine to detach, and he succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene.

TAMPA, FL – At least one lane was blocked at the U.S. 301 and I-4 intersection due to a crash, with sustained injuries reported after 6 p.m. Thursday. 

Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene at 6:10 p.m. and arrived ten minutes later at 6:20 p.m. The exact details of this collision were not made available.

RIVERVIEW, FL – At least one person sustained injuries when they were hit by a driver who fled the scene before 6:15 p.m. Thursday. 

Hillsborough County deputies confirmed this collision happened on the 6421 block of South Falkenburg Road. 

Deputies have not said if the injuries were minor or major, said what brought on this collision, or provided a description of the suspect and their vehicle.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – All U.S. 19 southbound lanes shut down due to a collision reported around 12:37 p.m. Thursday. 

FL 511 confirmed this crash occurred near 5th Avenue South.

PINELLAS PARK, FL – At least one person sustained injuries in a five-car collision that led a truck to roll over Wednesday morning, WTSP reported. 

This crash occurred at the 66th Street North and 102nd Avenue North junction. The impact had led the truck to overturn in the crosswalk along a concrete barrier, causing a Jeep to turn slightly sideways. 

The injuries sustained were minor.
