WIMAUMA, FL – A 62-year-old man was walking across U.S. 301 South when he was struck by a GMC SUV, leading him to suffer fatal wounds Monday.
The 62-year-old man from Illinois was declared dead at the scene, FOX 13 News reported. Florida Highway Patrol did not specify whether the pedestrian used a crosswalk or was jaywalking.
