SARASOTA, FL – A 35-year-old man was killed in a serious motorcycle crash that happened south of Sarasota Christian School in Fruitville Wednesday.

According to new details from My SunCoast, the events unfolded just before 6:30 p.m. when the 35-year-old man had lost control of his motorcycle while traveling on Turtle Creek Lane. He went into the median and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old woman, a local.

The man was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
