News: TPD arrests suspect responsible for N. Dale Mabry 4-auto wreck

TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Police Department arrested a driver who tried to flee the scene after colliding with several other vehicles on North Dale Mabry Monday. 

This four-vehicle collision happened before 6:30 a.m. near I-275, according to ABC Action News. The suspect fled on foot, but police found them a short time later. They are in custody, and no one suffered severe wounds. 

Police said the suspect has a dog and indicated they were trying to get the suspect’s pet to a safe environment. 

At the time of the writing, the northbound directions of Dale Mabry were still closed.
