News: One loses life in fiery crash with utility pole in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – When two vehicles, one of them rammed into a utility pole and then burst into flames Tuesday, claiming one life. 

This incident took place around 5:30 p.m. at the West Waters Avenue and North Boulevard junction, WTSP reported. The impact led to some power outages. 

The person who died was found inside one of the vehicles when fire crews arrived to put out the fire. 

Tampa Police closed the intersection to allow for the scene clearance and to pursue their investigation. 

No additional information, including the deceased person’s name, has been provided.
