ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A 21-year-old man died on Monday after he fell out of a stolen gray Jeep Cherokee in the Melrose-Mercy neighborhood before 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10th.

ABC Action News said the 21-year-old man, who has been identified as Vincent Green, leaped onto the Jeep but then fell as the driver — 22-year-old Ke’Andrae Davis — sped off on 20th Street South.

Davis lost control of the Jeep, causing it to overturn. He fled the scene and was later apprehended by the St. Petersburg Police Department on Wednesday, Feb. 14th. He will face vehicular homicide charges, police confirmed.

Green was rushed to a hospital, where he gave in to his critical wounds and was pronounced deceased there.
