TAMPA, FL – A driver of a Kia Forte was said to have been impaired when he crashed his Kia Forte into the back of a FHP patrol car, injuring himself, his passenger, and the trooper. 

This collision happened before 4:45 a.m. Saturday on I-275 North, Click Orlando reported. Before the rear-end crash, the trooper — a 28-year-old adult — was inside their cruiser (and had emergency lights) and was assisting with the left lane closures amid a construction zone. 

Prior to the crash, the Kia Forte — a 24-year-old man from Lakeland — had hit traffic cones and an arrow board before he rear-ended the FHP vehicle. 

TAMPA, FL – A woman lost her life following a crash west of Al Lopez Park on Saturday, Tampa Police revealed. 

Police responded to the area of West Hillsborough Avenue and North Church Street before 8:30 a.m. They advised drivers to seek alternative routes as they shut down the site. 

First responders conducted CPR measures on the woman. However, despite the life-saving procedures, she succumbed to fatal wounds. 

TAMPA, FL – A collision at the East Hanna Avenue and North 56th Street junction in the Del Rio neighborhood led at least one person to suffer injuries Friday. 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is now just arriving at the scene and has not disclosed information regarding what led to this crash, specified the kind of vehicles involved, or confirmed whether the wounds were minor or major.

TAMPA, FL – At least one person suffered unspecified wounds in a collision reported in the Lake Magdalene district after 7 p.m. Thursday. 

This crash happened at the East Bearss Avenue and North Florida Avenue junction, Hillsborough County deputies confirmed. 

Deputies have not yet said what contributed to this collision or revealed any information on the occupants and vehicles involved.  

TAMPA, FL – A driver of a car crashed into a concrete barrier amid a construction zone on the Howard Franklin Bridge, leading to major traffic backup Tuesday. 

According to a WFLA report, it is not clear what led to this collision if anyone was injured, or what exactly led to this crash.

BARTOW, FL – A driver of a Chevy Trax tried to turn left at an intersection and struck a cyclist, who succumbed to fatal injuries Wednesday. 

This collision occurred before 6:30 a.m. at the North Broadway Avenue and State Route 60 junction, WTSP reported. The cyclist was only identified as a 51-year-old woman. 

The Chevy driver, an unidentified 65-year-old woman, was unharmed. 

TAMPA, FL – A southbound lane at the East Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard and I-275 junction is blocked due to a collision reported after 6:40 p.m. Thursday. 

Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the scene at approximately 7:17 p.m. and are still on site. They are examining the circumstances of this crash and have not disclosed any other information at this time.

DOWNTOWN TAMPA, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash reported at the West Fortune Street and North Wc Macinnes Place junction Wednesday. 

They arrived at the scene a few minutes ago. At this time, they do not have any information on what led to this crash or information on the suspect and their vehicle.

This collision happened on the southbound lanes of I-75. The exact details of this crash have not been made immediately clear.
