SEMINOLE, FL – A 27-year-old man driving a 2016 Mazda sedan lost his life after he crashed into a fence and then stopped near a retention pond along Walsingham Park Sunday. 

This collision happened after 4 p.m. at the 102nd Avenue and Botanica Drive junction, according to Fox 13 News

The driver and sole occupant — 27-year-old Taylor Titus — was rushed to an area hospital where he died.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL – A 20-year-old man operating a 2018 Suzuki motorcycle was seriously hurt, and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman, died after his bike collided with an SUV. 

This collision happened in the 39000 block of U.S. Highway 19 before 8 p.m. Friday along AL Anderson Park. According to ABC Action News, the events of this crash unfolded when the driver of the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox struck the motorcycle. 

The passengers from Chevrolet were uninjured, and the motorist — 30-year-old Kayliegh McLiesh — was also unharmed, while the 21-year-old woman from the bike — Alina Faillios Chavez, 21 from Holiday — died at the scene.

CLEARWATER, FL – A collision that resulted in injuries is currently blocking the Roosevelt Boulevard and 62nd Street intersection in the High Point neighborhood. 

Florida Highway Patrol was made aware of this crash at approximately 5:22 p.m. and arrived at the site at 5:33 p.m. Troopers are investigating the events that led to this incident. They have not specified the severity of injuries sustained or indicated the kind of people and vehicles involved.

CLEARWATER, FL – Two people and a pilot lost their lives after a small plane crashed into a mobile home park complex, leading the plane to catch fire Thursday. 

Several fire responders arrived at the scene — which happened near U.S. Highway 19 — before 7:30 p.m., according to WTSP. The two people who lost their lives were inside the mobile home, along with several others, at the time of the collision. It is not exactly clear what led the pilot to crash into the home. This home, along with three others, were destroyed. 

One person from the mobile home was injured but declined medical treatment.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL – A 21-year-old woman operating an SUV hit a man on U.S. 19 South, leading him to suffer fatal wounds at the scene Tuesday. 

This crash happened after 10 a.m. near Beckett Way, according to Fox 13 News. The driver remained at the crash site. There has been no official word regarding citations.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Officials shut down three lanes on the Howard Frankland Bridge due to a crash that involved at least two vehicles Wednesday. 

According to WFLA, the collision, which happened at mile marker 33, involved a black car and a red vehicle. The red automobile sustained some significant rear-end damage. It is not immediately clear if anyone was injured.

LARGO, FL – The roads on the 6760 block of Ulmerton Road are closed due to a reported crash that led at least one person to suffer injuries Friday afternoon. 

Florida Highway Patrol was summoned to the area at 4:09 p.m. and arrived at the scene a few minutes later at 4:12 p.m.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A 68-year-old man lost his life after he was struck by a GMC C5500 pickup truck while crossing U.S. Highway 19 after 9 p.m. Friday. 

ABC Action News didn’t specify why the pedestrian was trying to cross, only stating he “walked into the path of the truck,” which led the driver of the truck — a 33-year-old man from Clearwater — to strike the pedestrian. 

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
