BRADENTON, FL – An SUV driver failed to stop at a red light and caused a multi-vehicle crash that left a 56-year-old woman and child in serious condition Monday.

After 1 p.m., the SUV driver, a 24-year-old man from Sarasota, first rear-ended a Kia sedan at the intersection of SR 70 and Greenbrook Boulevard, according to My SunCoast. Once those vehicles were, the Kia was propelled forward, and the 24-year-old man then hit another SUV.

The driver of the second SUV then struck another sedan. The driver of the Kia, the 56-year-old woman, and her child were the only injured individuals.

BRADENTON, FL – A 2-year-old toddler was killed after unintentionally getting out of a moving vehicle driven by his mother and getting hit when she put the car in reverse. 

This collision happened around 8 a.m. Wednesday on Anchor Bay Trail at their home, according to MySunCoast. 

No other details are available at this time. 

BRADENTON, FL – Florida Highway Patrol was called to a collision at the 21st Avenue West and 43rd Street junction Friday evening. 

Troopers reported no lane closures and have not shared the exact cause of this crash, said if anyone was hurt, and indicated the number of people and vehicles involved.

BRADENTON, FL – Troopers revealed that injuries were sustained in a collision that occurred close to the Lakewood National Golf Club Thursday afternoon. 

This collision occurred at the eastbound SR-70 and 197th Street E junction, according to the FHP live traffic report page. Officials were called to this crash before 1:45 p.m. and arrived at the scene at approximately 2:17 p.m.

Troopers were made aware of the crash at approximately 4:53 p.m. and arrived at the scene at precisely 5:11 p.m.
