News: Woman dead, 3 hurt in semi-car crash in Tampa

by

TAMPA, FL – A man, a juvenile, and an 8-year-old child sustained injuries, and a woman lost her life following a left turn crash involving a semi-truck and a car before noon Thursday.

WTSP said the man – who operated a 2011 red Mitsubishi Outlander – tried to turn left from North 45th Street and onto Adamo Drive when he was struck by the semi-truck.

The truck driver appears to have gotten away unscathed. Police have not mentioned if that motorist will face charges.

The Mitsubishi passengers, which consisted of the child and juvenile, a woman, and a man, were all sent to the hospital. The man and child are in critical condition, while the juvenile is in stable condition and is expected to survive. The woman later died there.
