NORTHEAST TAMPA, FL – A 22-year-old woman, a 3-year-old boy, and a five-year-old boy were left in serious condition after a crash on I-75 that happened on Memorial Day.
Florida Highway Patrol told ABC Action News that the young woman, who drove a Toyota Camry car, failed to negotiate a curve while driving on the East Fowler Avenue off-ramp. She had lost control of her car while trying to go into northbound I-75 and crashed off the road.
The woman and the two boys with her, her sons, were thrown from their overturned vehicle.
Troopers are actively working to determine the contributing factors behind the Memorial Day crash and have not mentioned any citations or charges at this time.
