TAMPA, FL – Tampa Police are investigating two separate collisions that happened Saturday in the Egypt Lake-Leto area that left one person dead.
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of North Nebraska Avenue and Broad Street East, where a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle, according to WTSP.
The other collision took place on the railroad tracks at North Florida Avenue and East Busch Boulevard. That is where a CSX train struck an unoccupied car.
Tampa police shut down the north and southbound directions of both areas to accommodate the scene clearance process.
Officers have not disclosed the deceased victim’s identity or disclosed the events leading to either wreck.
