News: Speed suspected in fatal crash in Tampa that killed motorcyclist

TAMPA, FL – A male motorcyclist was suspected to have been speeding, which led to a fatal crash that involved an SUV last Saturday.

The collision happened after 2 a.m. on I-4 West, according to Tampa Beacon. The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate when he lost control of his bike and rear-ended an Audi Q7.

The biker succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Florida Highway Patrol identified the motorcyclist as a 39-year-old man from Orlando and the car driver as a 67-year-old man from Seminole.

The Seminole man and his passenger were unharmed.
