LARGO, FL – A police officer and another driver were hurt in a two-vehicle collision at East Bay Drive and Country Club Drive Sunday afternoon, according to WTSP.
The two vehicles collided around 2:30 p.m. One of the cars then crashed into a power pole, knocking out power for around 4,900 Duke Energy customers.
First responders transported the officer and the other driver to an area hospital.
An update on Monday stated that the officer had been released from the hospital. The other driver remains in the hospital in a serious condition.
