LARGO, FL – According to WFLA, a driver struck and injured a boy near Largo High School on Friday.
The driver collided with the boy as he was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk.
First responders transported the boy to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene. Authorities determined he was not impaired.
The incident is under investigation by the Largo Police Department.
