News: Driver fatally collides with motorcyclist in Davenport

DAVENPORT, FL – According to ABC Action News, a driver struck and killed a motorcyclist near Interstate 4 and US 27 early Saturday morning.

A man was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle with a woman passenger when he took the exit from westbound Interstate 4 to southbound US 27 around 2:45 a.m.

The driver of a white Toyota Tundra was exiting a motel on Interstate 4 when he collided with the motorcyclist.

First responders transported the motorcyclist and his passenger to an area hospital, where the motorcyclist died. The passenger was in critical condition.

Neither person on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet.
