PINELLAS PARK, FL – A driver struck and injured a motorcyclist on the 11800 block of US 19 North on Thursday, according to ABC Action News.
First responders transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
Authorities do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the collision.
The Pinellas Park Police Department is investigating the incident.
