News: Crash near Tampa Int. Airport injures at least 1 

TAMPA, FL – At least one person sustained wounds in a collision reported west of Tampa International Airport Monday. 

Before 5:45 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol was summoned to the West Hillsborough Avenue and Halifax Drive junction. 

Troopers arrived at the scene five minutes before 6 p.m. at 5:55 p.m. They are investigating the exact details that led up to this crash and have not provided more information at this time.
