TAMPA, FL – A box truck driver ran over and killed a male pedestrian at the Wawa located at 2502 N 50th St on Saturday morning, according to ABC Action News.
The victim had lain down or collapsed near the rear wheels of a parked box truck around 5 a.m. The driver did not see the victim and ran over him.
Following the collision, the driver cooperated with authorities.
Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
