ST. PETERSBURG, FL – At least one person was injured in a crash that happened on the Howard Franklin Bridge Wednesday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol told WTSP that they arrived at the scene around 7:15 a.m. and blocked two northbound lanes to accommodate the clean-up process and investigation.

Troopers cleared the scene just before 9:30 a.m. and reopened the area.

Officials have not specified the number of people who were injured in the crash or specified the exact cause of the crash.
