News: Alleged impaired driver fatally collides with motorcyclist in Bradenton

BRADENTON, FL – According to WTSP, a suspected impaired driver killed a motorcyclist’s passenger near 42nd Avenue West and 59th Street West on July 7.

Milton May, 51, was driving east on 42nd Avenue West when he struck a northbound motorcyclist around 10:15 p.m.

First responders transported the 28-year-old motorcyclist to an area hospital in critical condition. His 35-year-old woman passenger died in the collision.

Following the crash, May remained at the scene and displayed signs of impairment. He refused to take field sobriety tests.

Authorities arrested May and took him to the hospital. May has been charged with DUI manslaughter and DUI with serious bodily injury. He will be booked at the Manatee County Jail once he is released from the hospital.
