PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – According to FOX 13, a suspected impaired driver collided with a skateboarder on Southeast Melalecua Blvd on Sunday.
Robert Voisine was allegedly impaired as he was driving a Mazda when he hit a man riding a skateboard and a mailbox.
A bystander told officers the make, model, license plate, and description of the suspect.
Officers found the damaged Mazda at Voisine’s home. They discovered that Voisine had been drinking at an Applebee’s before the collision.
Voisine has been charged with 2 counts of DUI=damage to property or person, hit-and-run for failing to stop for a crash involving injury, and hit-and-run after leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.
