MANATEE COUNTY, FL – Two teens died in a single-vehicle collision on Silverleaf Avenue near US 301 on Saturday, according to FOX 13.
A 19-year-old driver was driving a Dodge Charger south on Silverleaf Avenue at high speeds when they strayed off the road and hit multiple trees around 2:15 a.m.
Crews pronounced the driver and a 19-year-old passenger dead at the scene. A 17-year-old male passenger and a 16-year-old female passenger were hospitalized. The 17-year-old was in critical condition, and the 16-year-old was in serious condition.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
