News: Alleged DUI driver collides with another vehicle, hospitalizing 2 in Dunedin

DUNEDIN, FL – According to WTSP, two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision caused by a suspected impaired driver near Belcher Road and Winchester Drive on Sunday.

Jared Tiso, 42, was driving a Dodge Ram south on Belecher Road when he collided with a northbound Lexus LX near Winchester Drive around 9:30 p.m.

The collision caused the Lexus to roll over and throw the driver and their passenger from the vehicle.

First responders transported the two people from the Lexus to an area hospital. The driver had life-threatening injuries.

Authorities believed Tiso displayed signs of impairment and arrested him on three counts of DUI. Two of those charges were DUI causing serious bodily injuries.
