PETERSBURG, FL – Two men had to go to a local hospital following a shooting-turned-collision that happened in the Gulfport neighborhood Thursday.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 17 Ave S and 49 St S, according to ABC Action News. Police arrived at the scene to find a 19-year-old man who was shot and an 18-year-old man inside the vehicle who was not shot. EMS crews hurried to the scene and rushed the young men to the emergency room.
The 18-year-old man is listed in stable condition, and the 19-year-old man is in critical condition.
St. Petersburg Police brought in a suspect for questioning and have yet to confirm which individual shot the man. In addition, they have not specified whether it was the 19-year-old man or the 18-year-old man who was driving.
