News: Rollover collision causes power outages in East Tampa 

EAST TAMPA, FL – A car crashed into a utility pole, causing it to overturn and leaving 313 people without power on Friday.

The rollover collision took place around 2:15 a.m. at the westbound Hillsborough Avenue and 36th Street intersection, WFLA reports. Images from the source showed a damaged pole and downed power lines. 

TECO Energy was able to restore the power around 6:30 a.m. 

Tampa Police said no one, including the driver, was seriously injured. 

Officers have not disclosed why the driver lost control of their vehicle.
