HOLIDAY, FL – According to WTSP, authorities arrested a man for causing a wreck that killed an 8-month-old child on US 19 near Flora Avenue on Saturday.
Antonio Bravo was driving a Chevrolet Silverado south on US 19 when he slammed into the back of an Audi sedan, which was stopped for traffic, around 1:36 a.m.
First responders transported the 8-month-old child to an area hospital, where he died. He was in a car seat at the time of the crash. The boy’s father, a 27-year-old man, was driving the Audi. It is unclear if he was hurt in the collision.
Authorities determined that Bravo was impaired and arrested him. His BAC was .089.
